If you live in Cary, you know that one of the best ways to unwind after a long day is to catch the game at a sports bar that serves up great food and drinks. Like everywhere else in North Carolina, college basketball reigns supreme, but professional basketball, football, hockey, hockey, and soccer are also incredibly popular.

Just about any type of sports fan will be sure to feel right at home at any of these 10 great local sports bars in Cary:

BottleDog Bites & Brews

BottleDog Bites & Brews features a fantastic draft list and the best poutine you’ll find in the Triangle! There are a bunch of TVs lined up at the bar featuring a variety of sports. There’s a suspicious amount of Pittsburgh Penguins gear at the bar, but we’ll forgive them for that as long as they keep serving up that addictive poutine! Go Canes…

Spirits Pub & Grub

Spirits Pub & Grub is a great spot to catch an NC State Game. There is a full bar and tasty pub fare such as wings and burgers. It’s also a convenient spot to grab a bite to eat before heading to the PNC Arena to watch the Wolfpack play ball or a Carolina Hurricanes hockey game!

Hickory Tavern

Sports and music lovers alike enjoy Abbey Road Tavern & Grill! There are plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports teams, and the place is decked out with guitars, concert posters, and images of famous rock stars.
