Kono Pizza will be officially launching in Raleigh this weekend. The authentic Italian mobile food truck will be the first of its kind in North Carolina, offering a menu of creative Pizza cones for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and of course dessert. The fun & unique menu at Kono includes over a dozen of the most popular all-time pizza varieties and legendary Italian desserts as well, all stuffed into a thick deliciously unique cone. Their flavors will include meat kones, veggie kones, tiramisu kones, chocolate kones, and cannoli kones.

The Kono Pizza cones were created to provide consumers with authentic Italian pizza made from only high-quality ingredients, with mobility in mind! After decades of devouring countless slices of triangle or square-cut pizza, American consumers are about to experience a progressive new way to enjoy their favorite Italian dish.

Earlier this year, Kono USA announced their newest franchise member from The Triangle Area, Sandor Bosze of Wake Forest into the Kono family. Mr. Bosze signed on for a new Kono Pizza Mobile Truck in the Raleigh area and the first of its kind in all of North Carolina. Sandor operated the European Bistro Food Truck previously, which he and his team re-outfitted and will be re-launching in Raleigh this weekend as a Pizza food truck under the Kono brand.

You will be able to get your hands on specially priced $5 Pizza cones over at Lonerider Brewing in the Brier Creek area on Sat, March 3rd (12 PM – 8 PM) and Trophy Brewing & Taproom in the Downtown Raleigh area on Sun, March 4th (12 PM – 6 PM). Follow Kono Pizza Raleigh on Twitter & Facebook for the latest Food Truck announcements, special deals, etc.

Kono Pizza operates across multiple unit types, including carts, kiosks and mobile trucks across the United States. They have several locations queued for opening in Q1 2018, including areas near Boston, Tempe, San Diego, Orlando, Dallas, Houston, and San Francisco. Pizza cones are extremely popular in Italy and are enjoyed by millions of people all over the world as well. Kono Pizza has over one hundred locations in over 30 countries.

REAL INGREDIENTS

From the moment of conception, The creators of Kono and Kono To Go insisted that quality and deliciousness come first.  Our dough and sauces are imported straight from Italy. Nothing is pre-made or re-heated, all cones are made-to-order. All ingredients in Kono Pizza cones have been approved by our Chef in Italy. Delizioso!

PORTABLE EATS ON THE GO

Our cones were created to provide consumers with authentic Italian pizza made from only high-quality ingredients, with mobility in mind! Kono Pizza and Kono To Go tastes better, you feel better about eating it, and the best part is you won’t spill sauce down your shirt!

EASY & CLEAN EATING

Kono Pizza allows our customers to enjoy a delicious meal, on the fly. We use a low-skim, low-moisture cheese to eliminate condensation and grease in Kono Pizza cones. You just eat it the same way you would an ice cream cone—but, you know, with biting instead of licking.

TRENDSETTERS

Most people love pizza, but they also have a list of things they don’t love about it. “Oil running off the slice onto my clothes,” “the sauce insisting its way onto my cheeks” and other rants are common among pizza lovers. Not at Kono. Our Kono Cone was engineered to ensure that all of the product ended up where it’s supposed to, not on your shirt or on your face!

As of March 2018, there were over a dozen Kono Pizza locations listed in the USA and over 100 locations worldwide in 30+ countries.
