Did you know there are three fun and exciting amusement parks located within the city limits of Raleigh, featuring tons of indoor and outdoor activities for kids of all ages? They are Galaxy Fun Park, Adventure Landing, and Frankie’s Fun Park. Activities at these family-friendly local entertainment complexes include bumper cars, miniature golf, laser tag, trampolines, arcades, batting cages and so much more.

Galaxy Fun Park

The Galaxy Fun Park is the newest and largest indoor family fun park in all of Raleigh featuring 60,000 square feet of activities for all ages. You will find this family fun center located at 14460 Falls of Neuse Rd in North Raleigh, off Capital Blvd and Falls of Neuse Rd, which is right within the Wakefield area.

Attractions here include a trampoline which is over 10,000 square feet and features a dodgeball area, dunk zone, and bag jump area. Laser tag is another popular activity at Galaxy Fun Park that takes place in a spaceship and alien themed environment.

Additional attractions at the Galaxy Fun Park include indoor go-kart racing and spinning bumper cars. The go-kart area racetrack is over 15,000 square feet long and lets you race against up to 16 other drivers. Spinning bumper cars in the “orbital spin zone” not only move forward and backward but can spin as well, which gives the bumper car game an added touch.

Kids will enjoy a soft play area at the Mission Control Station at Galaxy Fun Park. This maze-like soft play area has four levels and has a space and alien theme. The space walk ropes course is an indoor ropes activity where you walk on tight edges or steps while being harnessed at a height of two stories above the ground.

The arcade game area at Galaxy Fun Park has over 24 different games. The on-site Cosmic Café at Galaxy Fun Park provides refreshments, snacks and standard American fares such as pizza, sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, and all are served with sides.

If you want to enjoy a cold beer or a glass of wine, and have a full view of the Galaxy below, you can visit the Lunar Lounge located on the second level, that is for our guests that are 21 and older! You can relax in the Cosmic Café or the Lunar Lounge while catching your favorite game on one of the 30 Big Screen TV’s that play a variety of programming all day long.

The Galaxy Fun Park also offers birthday parties/special group events, track out camps, and more.

Frankie’s Fun Park

Frankie’s Fun Park is one of the most popular family fun parks in all of the Triangle with indoor and outdoor activities. You will find Frankie’s Fun Park located at 11190 Fun Park Drive in the Brier Creek area, right off Glenwood Ave and TW Alexander Dr.

The fun park features over a dozen different attractions and activities. You can play over 100 different games in the arcade area. Sports-themed attractions at Frankie’s Fun Park include miniature golf and a batting cage. You can also play a game of laser tag in a dark room with fog effects.

A unique attraction at Frankie’s Fun Park is the Dark Ride XD. This is an interactive 3D video game where up to eight people compete against one another to get the highest score. The “Fun House” is a play area for kids that includes slides and obstacle courses for them to play in. Another kid’s play area is the “Spider Web” which has three levels of a spider web themed play area.

There are three different ride experiences at Frankie’s Fun Park. They are the Road Course, Rookie Track, and Shamrock. The road course offers miniature drag racing in a winding track against other people. The rookie track is a race course for kids only in miniature vehicles. The Shamrock involves racing in a go-kart with racing slicks on a unique frictionless surface.

Frankie’s Fun Park has fun floating bumper boats in an outdoor pool. The boats are also equipped with “water cannons” that can be used to spray other boaters. Frankie’s Fun Park also features an outdoor ropes course called the Sky Trail. This course is located four stores above the ground and has a range of challenges and obstacles to try while being harnessed.

There are three rides at Frankie’s Fun Park. They are the Sidewinder, Windstarz and Drop Zone. The sidewinder is a ride that spins while moving from side to side at a rapid speed. Windstarz emulates a hang gliding experience. The Drop Zone is a ride that lifts you off the ground rapidly and back.

You can grab a quick bite to eat or a light snack at Frankie’s Café. A full service bar featuring draft beers, cocktails, and food menu is available at Frankie’s Chill Lounge. Popular items on the menu include burgers and sandwiches, tacos, wings, flat breads, salads, and they even have plates of a variety of appeteziers / finger foods.

Frankie’s also offers private birthday parties, group packages, and corporate events for company outings. With close to 40,000 square feet available at Frankie’s, the restaurant, lounge and patio offer private and semi private areas to accommodate any group size.

Adventure Landing Raleigh

The Adventure Landing family entertainment center is located at 3311 Capital Boulevard in East Raleigh. It features fun and affordable family activities for all age levels. This includes three different 18-hole miniature golf courses and a batting cage. The batting cage has nine-pitch speeds that range from 20 to 60 miles per hour.

Additional activities at Raleigh Adventure Landing includes laser tag, arcade games, and an outdoor go-kart track. The laser tag area features a maze and special lighting throughout the area. There are over 75 different arcade and ticket games at Adventure landing. The outdoor-go-kart track is a quarter mile long and tests both speed and control. Refreshments and snacks such as pizza and soda can be purchased at the on-site café.

Adventure Landing specializes in birthday parties and group outings such as day care / summer camps, school field trips, fundraisers, church youth groups, sports team parties, corporate outings, team building, and holiday parties.
