One of the best perks of living in Raleigh is the fantastic weather. Sure, it gets a little hot in the summer, but for most of the year, we have mild weather and can enjoy outdoor activities. Rooftop bars allow us to enjoy sunny afternoons, summer nights and crisp fall evenings while enjoying adult beverages.
We certainly love our rooftop bars in Raleigh! Here are a few of our favorites:
The Raleigh Times
The Raleigh Times is a very popular beer bar located in Downtown Raleigh. You can usually spot it a block away because the crowds are often spilling into the sidewalk and the rooftop bar is packed!
Level7 is a new rooftop bar located on the 7th floor of the AC Hotel in North Hills. Enjoy the view while sipping in craft cocktails and enjoying some delicious tapas!
Carolina Ale House
Want to watch your favorite team crush it while also enjoying the sunny weather? The Downtown Raleigh location of The Carolina Ale House features plenty of TVs, fantastic bar food, AND a rooftop bar. The windows retract, so even if the weather is too cold, you can still enjoy the views. Go Canes! Go Wolfpack!
Raleigh Beer Garden
The Raleigh Beer Garden holds the World Record for having the most beers on tap. 366 beers on tap, to be exact! Naturally, the massive selection of beers draws quite the crowd, but there’s inside seating, patio seating AND seating on its awesome rooftop deck. Cheers!
Enjoy the Glenwood South crowd by grabbing a table on the Hibernian Pub rooftop! Hibernian Pub is one of Raleigh’s most popular Irish pubs. Enjoy a plate of fish and chips and a pint of Guinness while taking in the gorgeous weather. It’s quite the craic!
Lynnwood Grill is located further north on Glenwood Avenue. Lynnwood Grill brews its own beer and offers some of the best bar food in town. There’s always a party on its rooftop bar!
10th and Terrace
10th and Terrace is Raleigh’s newest and tallest rooftop bar. It’s located on the 10th floor of the Residence Inn Raleigh Downtown Hotel. Enjoy a small plate and a cocktail while taking in the fantastic view.
