We are pretty sure you will want to hit up all these local Insta worthy destinations sooner than later in Raleigh. Just try and control yourself and don’t rush into all five businesses on the same day. Your dentist wouldn’t be pleased if they found out!

The Cupcake Shoppe

Located only minutes from downtown Raleigh and located in the always happening Glenwood South district, The Cupcake Shoppe is just gorgeous all-around! This cupcake destination is bright and beautiful. The menu offers 12-15 specialty cupcakes and other creative confections like breakfast pastries, croissants, brownies, seasonal bars & cookies, ice cream sandwiches, homemade marshmallows and more. Additionally, the shop makes gluten-free options in-house and offers a full line of coffee and espresso drinks.

Cake Couture Boutique

Located adjacent to the massive Triangle Town Center mall in Northeast Raleigh, Cake Couture makes gorgeous wedding cakes. Also, they offer a nice variety of cupcakes, gourmet candy bars as well as a full range of catering. With weekly flavors such as pineapple upside down and candy bar crunch, it would definitely worth a visit!

Gigi’s Cupcakes

The story of Gigi’s Cupcakes is quite remarkable. Gigi’s real dream was to become a singer/songwriter. So, she formed a band and began doing her own shows and making demo tapes. But, fate paired Gigi with something sweeter. Known for its one-of-a-kind cupcakes and signature icing swirl, Gigi’s Cupcakes are available not only in-person for pickup at one of the local stores — but the cupcakes can also be ordered online, shipped right to your doorstep!

Gigi’s has two locations in Raleigh, one over in Brier Creek and another just outside of Cameron Village near Wade Ave.
