If you love sushi and burritos, we have amazing news for y’all – now you can have both, served fusion style! Atlanta-based Poke Burri has opened its first North Carolina location in North Raleigh. The creative and award-winning Asian fusion menu includes Hawaiian poke bowls, sushi burrito rolls, and even sushi donuts. Owner Seven Chan originally opened Poke Burri in Atlanta with Chef Ken Yu in 2016.

Their restaurant quickly became very popular and has been featured on Eater and in several other media outlets and online publications such as Atlanta Magazine and Creative Loafing. The Poke Burri team recently entered and won 2nd place in the ATL Burger Week Contest! Winning seems to be a theme for Chan and his crew – his kimchi arancini won Most Interesting Dish in the Taste of Atlanta Contest. Also, he won the Atlanta Underground Market Battle with his sushi sandwich sliders.

Chan recently opened Lifting Noodles Ramen in Atlanta, and also plans to open more Poke Burri locations in the coming year. He tells us at least 4 more Poke Burri locations are already in the works and will be open soon.

Fun & Creative Asian Fusion Food

The Poke Burri menu is simple, yet intriguing. You can create your own poke bowl, or go with one of Poke Burri’s signature bowls. One of the most popular signature bowls is the “SUPER” Poke Bowl, which includes seasoned tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, crab salad with many veggies, and fixins such as eel sauce, spicy mayo, and pickled ginger.

Like the poke bowls, you can also create your own sushi burrito, or order a signature one. Popular sushi burritos are the Demorgon, named for the predatory creature in Stranger Things, and the Oak City Special, named for Poke Burri’s new home.

You definitely will never leave Poke Burri hungry – the portions are large compared to other poke places! The sushi burritos are also very filling. It’s tempting to try everything on the menu, so we suggest bringing a friend so you y’all can share the deliciousness!

There’s a Secret Menu + Specials

While the regular menu includes many exciting items, the team at Poke Burri adds to the intrigue by offering a Secret Menu. Secret menu items often include award-winning creations, such as bacon tempura with syrup! Follow Poke Burri on Instagram to get a peek at the secret menu items. They may not pop up every day, but when they do, all you have to do is head over and ask for it! However, they have been known to run out of certain secret menu items, so you should try to arrive early. You may also give them a call and “reserve” one.

In addition to a Secret Menu, Poke Burri also offers a “Baby” menu, in which any menu item can be made in a smaller size. Alternately, if you are REALLY hungry, you can order from the “Ariana Grande” menu, in which the menu items are super-sized if you are really feeling hungry.

A Secret Menu Item Named After YOU

Imagine a sushi burrito or poke bowl named after YOU! It’s not just a dream, it can be a reality if you bring in 10 friends to Poke Burri. Don’t worry, you don’t need to bring them in all at once. Just make sure they let the cashier know that YOU sent them, by leaving your name! Shoot a message to Poke Burri on Instagram for more information about this unique offering.
