NC State Bell Tower

This historic site is recognizable and integral to the city’s history – plus it makes for an ideal all-purpose location if you want both scenic nature and a city vibe in one shot!

Historic Yates Mill County Park

A popular place for engagement photos, Historic Yates Mill County Park with its easily recognizable restored mill, is a wonderfully understated option for your next photo or video project. The quiet area makes audio editing easy, and there are multiple scenic backgrounds available all within a small space – no need to hike to find the perfect shot! Plus, it’s right in town so you won’t have to drive out of the way just to get some nature in your video, saving time and gas!

Fayetteville Street District

The Fayetteville Street district has been the central hub of Raleigh happenings since the 1800s, and now it provides a combination of history and new business – which makes it an ideal location for your next shoot! William B. Umstead State Park

Finally, no list of iconic Raleigh locations would be complete without William B. Umstead Park. Tucked in between the fastest growing cities in the triangle, the park is easily accessible, and its large size provides an oasis of tranquility in the area. From boat rentals to camping, Umstead is the perfect place for shooting photo and video in Raleigh – no wonder almost 2 million people visit the park every year!
