Warm weather often gives way to your desire to spend more and more time outdoors on the patio at most places, of course with your pets by your side. I’m completely objective in saying a meal shared with a pet is better than a meal shared with a Tinder date.

So, I searched around Downtown Raleigh high and low to see what local restaurants not only cater to my human needs but also the needs of my furry side-kick! Here are a few pretty awesome centrally located Raleigh restaurants that fit the bill in being sensationally delicious AND pet-friendly too.

The Flying Biscuit Cafe

I take my golden retriever, Alan, to restaurants all the time. Having him acknowledged is good. Having him accommodated is great. The Flying Biscuit in Cameron Village treated my pup as if he was a human customer. Alan had a bowl of water before my butt touched my seat. A+ speediness! Something else that sets this place apart is that almost all of the patio area is in the shade.

Less time worrying about your pet overheating means more time studying The Flying Biscuit’s incredible menu. With so many good things on there, you’ll need all the food-focused time you can get.

Humble Pie

Spoil your taste buds and your pooch while relaxing downtown. From experience, time melts away inside of Humble Pie’s incredible patio area. This is a place you can take multiple friends with multiple dogs. The restaurant’s small plates are authentically Southern and loaded with flavor – easily shared with your guests sitting at the table and good-boys sitting underneath the table.

With a well-lit covered patio, great food and one of downtown’s best cocktail menus, you really cannot go wrong stopping by at Humble Pie.

Raleigh Beer Garden

Looking for dog-loving friends? Raleigh Beer Garden is a fantastic option! They really emphasize their outdoor seating which makes it a downtown hub for the beer-loving pet owner in Raleigh.

In addition to being pet-friendly, they host over three hundred different beers on tap! Uh…yes, please!

Raleigh Is A Super Dog Friendly City

Next time you find yourself looking for a place to dine with your dog, try checking out one of these places. Warm weather, great food, and your pets is a recipe for success.
