The city of Raleigh is home to a wide variety of pricey neighborhoods and exclusive communities of million dollar homes. Some are historic, featuring unique and one-of-a-kind homes which are over 100 years old, closer to the city center where all the action is, while other pricey neighborhoods have just recently been solidly established in the past 15-20 years further out in the lesser densely populated and more remote locations which feature a quiet suburban all-around feel.

There are many neighborhoods around the Carolina Country Club off Glenwood Ave which are very pricey and sell for over one million dollars regularly. Closer to Falls Lake in the northern parts of the city, there are also many expensive neighborhoods and master planned communities situated directly on or close-to golf courses which frequently sell for record-breaking prices.
